- Co-founder of the Companion Modelling (ComMod) network, I'm involved in the development of the Cormas agent-based simulation platform.
- In 2011, I have initiated MISS-ABMS, a two-week multi-platform summer school on agent-based simulation applied to socio-ecosystems, which is since then organized every summer in Montpellier (France).
- Former executive board member of the Computational Modeling for SocioEcological Science (CoMSES) network.
- Member of the editorial board of the open-access journal Socio-Environmental Systems Modelling (SESMO) and since 2023 associate editor of Simulation & Gaming.
- Member of the International Advisory Committee and the French National Committee of the UNESCO Man And Biosphere (MAB) programme.
- Member of the Scientific Council of the Parc Amazonien de Guyane.
